Built from champion bloodlines.
The Fonti brood stock originates from C.O.M. European champions and U.S.A. national winners. Luis breeds classic colors and new mutations, with Red Factor as the program's specialty.
Birds are selected and bred according to national colorbred standards. The photographs on this site show them in standard show cages, allowing breeders to study color, category, melanin, and type.
Luis has also dedicated decades to researching genetics and sharing what he has learned. His writings on Satinet, Ino, lipochrome, melanin, and color feeding remain available in the Knowledge Center.

Luis's work is shaped by both the breeder's patience and the judge's eye. He has earned awards at local, state, and national levels.
Bird welfare comes first
Seasonal availability and shipping.
Shipping during June, July, and August is generally not advisable because of the annual moult.
Shipments may be delayed during periods of extreme heat or cold.
Flight or postal confirmation is made by phone the evening before shipping.
Brokers and pet shops are welcome. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
